Anchors always enjoy having lots of fun and making pirates hats for the International Day of the Pirate was just the opportunity to do that.
Lots of 'walk the plank' and arrgghh's from our collection of Anchor Boy pirates.
The Mop Fair in Tewkesbury is always a popular event and so we've had a couple of weeks making models of fairground rides and playing some old time games. Everything from a rifle range to roll the penny and ping pong targets were created for the Juniors to have a go at.
The real Mop Fair was in town for 2 days and the boys enjoyed many of the usual rides - along with a few new ones, including a reverse bungee jump!
A great weekend in North Wales with the BB Canoe Club and our Seniors, learning new skills for their DofE Gold expeditions. Staff also had the opportunity to brush up on their kayaking skills and work towards their 3 Star Awards. The lake at Bala is a great place to paddle and the weather was kind to us (most of the time) - catering was great too, thanks to chef Dave!
Our anniversary weekend in December will include a Church Parade on the afternoon of 4th December and the re-dedication of our BB gates at Holy Trinity Church
